  It is a swimming pool, a teaching pool, and an occassionaly open toddler pool. It also has an attached gym and sports hall. Don't expect a fun leisure centre for young people though the inflatable fun is fun and the toddler gym activities in the main hall are well like.
  
  Before a swim you need to try and locate a swimming timetable online in case the pools are closed for classes or the over 50's (to get the timetable you have to download the timetable from the website and the file is never obviously named or located) . I would suggest ringing but getting through is very difficult at best and, though it has improved, the reception staff don't always have the requested Information about courses etc to hand.
  
  The cafe is exceedingly expensive and you often gave to clear you own table before sitting down. Though it has a ball pit for the under 6's.
  
  The pool and changing rooms are usually clean. Oh and the holiday swimming lessons for children are genuinely fantastic and great value!
  
  Finally don't forget your non refundable 20p for your locker!
